Kingdoms

  •  Human Kingdoms
    • Grommaedia
      • To the west and south is the vast Kingdom of Grommaedia. King Cedric rules from his gleaming capital city whose skyline prominently features a massive library, hilltops capped with beautiful temples to gods old and new, exquisite wizard towers, domed senate chambers, and a grand palace of polished marble at the center. King Cedric aspires to be an emperor and several recently acquired territories now fly his golden griffon banner on a field of blue sapphire. The expansion of Grommaedia to the west through Fey Forks is not generally possible as the elven forests form a natural barrier for human civilization.
    • Thar
      • To the north is Thar, a once beautiful kingdom of prairies, steppes, and flowering tundra. The Curse of Chaos ravaged the land over two hundred years ago and is now firmly rooted in the far north. The tundra, is a perpetually scorched wasteland occupied by blood-mad lunatics.
    • Rastany
      • To the east, following a pass through the Implacable Mountains, lies the kingdom of Rastany. The passage through the Implacables is treacherous for its weather triggering avalanches, rock slides, and flash floods and the constant threat of attack from hungry winged monsters. Only the most experienced merchants will brave the passage from Rastany to trade for rare elven goods at Taurtorg.
  • Elven Kingdoms
    • Annuv
      • The Annuven Forest surrounds a large series of gorges, cascading waterfalls, and water filled caverns carved out by the cold waters flowing southwest out of Lake Endya. Somewhere deep within this woodland labyrinth is an Elven city to which few know the way and even fewer are welcome.
    • Dennuv
      • The Dennuven Forest is a sprawling forest of mystic groves dedicated to rare animals and plants. There are no cities in Dennuv, and the faeries, sprites, brownies, and other fey folk outnumber the wood elves who tend gardens which appear wild to the untrained eye. Travel is safe here if one respects the wood.

  • Dwarven Kingdoms
    • Gygrmheim
      • Somewhere to the southeast, in the midst of the Implacables, a dwarven city stronghold was built about a giant crater. It is here that dwarves mine all manner of cosmic stones and unearthly metals which are used to imbue dwarven weapons and armor with special powers. These materials are also sought by enchanters for the construction of even more diverse magic items.
    • Isernheim
      • The dwarven halls of Isernheim are hidden in the northern reaches of the Implacables. Large deposits of iron, copper, silver, and gold are found deep underground here, and centuries of mining has transformed these holes into massive halls of carven stone.
    • Sonorheim
      • The Umber Mountains conceals a Dwarven city of great spiritual significance. Sonorheim was built in homage to the earth-song, and like its sister cities, is a rare location where the earth speaks directly to the dwarves.
