Thorbin Whitebeard:
Warhammer, Dwarf Warrior |
Rumors of Thorbin's royal ancestry are whispered in the high courts of the cities he visits. When confronted with such grand claims, his non-denial denial consists of a short laugh and "That sounds unlikely! Which kingdom owes me grand halls and chambers that I should return to?" No amount of scrying can ever answer such a question, as dwarven secrets live only in warded vaults deep below the earth.
Wanderlust in a dwarf is a trait of great kings of old and perhaps he is destined to found his own kingdom some day.
Arthralas:
Warhammer, Glade Guard |
Arthralas is a rebellious young highborn wood elf. It is wood elf tradition to silently observe passers-by in the forest, but to spite his father, Arthralas began greeting visitors and making strange acquaintances. What started as a game, has informed his opinion that there is wisdom in the broader world which must be pursued and used to serve his people.
Arthralas has attached himself to the fate of the Dwarf Lord after Thorbin saved his life. In truth, that debt has been repaid ten-fold already. Yet Thorbin accepts Arthralas's insistence on the continuation of the contract with a wry smile and an understanding that the act of actively repaying such a debt, keeps Arthralas's father in good standing with his people when explaining his son's absence.
Dantrag:
Reaper Miniatures, Dantrag |
Dantrag is an enormous barbarian from the far north. He is a seasoned mercenary in search of a steady stream of adventures. After not being paid for his last bit of fighting, he joined Thorbin at the first sight of real coinage.
Dantrag is a cunning warrior and speaks a dozen languages with an alien accent.
Brandal Birchstaff:
Reaper Miniatures, Brandal Birchstaff |
Brandal is a Mystic Summoner in search of arcane knowledge and artifacts form the ruins buried beneath all parts of this ancient world. He recognized the dwarf and elf for the nobility they are and who better to partner with than a dwarf's adventurer party?
Shrub:
Dark Sword Miniatures, Hedge Knight |
The company has forgotten the given name of this hopeful youth who started following them on Ventar Road East to Fey Forks. He is now called "Shrub." His aspirations to become a knight drew the comment, "Yer not even a hedge knight! Yer more like a... shrub."
Brother Benniard:
Reaper Miniatures, Anirion |
Brother Benniard is a wandering monk who joined the party with Shrub. He seems a decent fellow and enjoys the company of his companions. But none have asked about his "Brotherhood" and he's not volunteering any information.
